- • 17:30 pickup at your hotel within city centre
- • Try the Vietnamese noodles called “Bun thit nuong”, a very popular dish of cold rice-vermicelli noodle topped with grilled pork, fresh herbs, topped with roasted peanuts, Vietnamese pickled carrots and so many more local ingredients.
- • Next on our list is the Vietnamese pancake “Banh xeo”, named for the sizzling sound it makes when the rice batter is poured into the hot skillet. It is made of rice flour, water, and turmeric powder stuffed with individual preference. It can be served vegetarian or with meat. You’ll also get to try “banh khot”, a mini version of the “banh xeo”, but with a bit of a tasty twist.
- • Head to the 24/7 old and biggest flower market in Ho Chi Minh City, opened since 1980. The flowers here are transferred from Da Lat every morning. You’ll be able to walk around and see thousands of flowers ranging from local tropical to those imported from overseas.
- • After the flower market, taste the local special treat, perfect for hot days, coconut ice-cream with many toppings such as sticky rice, corn, coconut flakes
