No trip to the northern Vietnam is complete without a visit to Ha Long Bay. There are more than 1,600 islets in the bay, their limestone worn down by 500 million years of tropical downpours, and topped by thick jungle growth. Some of the islands are hollow, creating majestic caves, some of the larger islands have their own lakes.

Itinerary
- • 8:00 pickup at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter to depart to Ha Long Bay.
- We will take a short break of 20 minutes on the way so you can enjoy the beauty of Vietnamese countryside scenery such as rice fields with busy local farmers working, using Vietnamese traditional methods of cultivation.
- • 12:00 arrives in Ha Long Bay Port and transfer to the cruise with our welcoming staff. Lunch will be served to you on board by the crew. While you enjoy the traditional Vietnamese lunch, the captain will cruise around the most beautiful islets among thousands of limestone islands such as Incense Burner, Fighting Cock, etc for you to see.
- • Stop at Thien Cung Cave (Heavenly Palace Cave), located on a remote island in the bay. As the name suggests, the cave is adorned with fantastic stalactites and stalagmites as well as coloured lights, which transforms the scene into a fairytale palace.
- Stop at Ba Hang area where you could either join the bamboo boat ride or kayaking around the bay.
- • 16:00 the cruise will return to the port for you to get on the vehicle transferring back to Hanoi.
- • 20:30 arrive in Hanoi city centre and drop you off at your hotel/accommodation in Hanoi Old Quarter.
