Bat Trang Village is an ancient village known for the tradition of making porcelain and pottery items which are still favoured by many local and international markets in modern times.
Situated on the bank of Nhue River, about 10km southwest of Ha Noi Old Quarter is Van Phuc Silk Village. The village is renowned for its traditional weaving and premium quality silk products. At the age of more than 1,200 years, Van Phuc is proud to be the most ancient silk village which provides the best silk in Vietnam.

On the left bank of Hong river and about 10km East from Ha Noi, there situated a pottery village, which is the most famous and long-standing pottery village in Vietnam named Bat Trang. Until now, Bat Trang Pottery Village is still in operating and developing.
- • Stop at: Van Phuc Silk Village
Just 15km West of Ha Noi, there is a place renowned over centuries for its silk-making and silk products called Van Phuc village in Ha Hong. In recent years, the village has enjoyed the revival of its craft due to a surging demand for silk from both the domestic and foreign markets.
